THE PROCESS / FROM BRIEF TO BULK

Custom Sportswear Manufacturing

Custom Sportswear Manufacturing starts with a clear product brief and develops through a sequence of approved decisions. At Sportswear Manufacturer, a sister concern of Wenext Bangladesh, we review your garment design, fabric preferences, measurements, branding and order quantity before planning the next stage. Samples help establish the fit and appearance that production should follow. Our process connects material preparation, cutting, decoration, sewing, finishing and shipment coordination around those agreed references. Share your target customer and destination early so the complete order can be discussed with the product requirements in view. Follow our step-by-step sportswear production guide for the detailed approval route.

01 / A CLEAR PRODUCTION ROUTE

One approved brief.
Six connected stages.

01

Define the product brief

Start with the garment’s intended use, target wearer and design. Send a sportswear tech pack containing drawings, measurements, artwork and material references. Identify which details are fixed and which need development. A physical sample can help explain the required fit, but list any changes separately. Confirm quantities by style, colour and size, together with branding, packing and destination requirements. Use the supplier RFQ template to organise these inputs and obtain comparable quotations before committing to sampling or production.

02

Develop and approve the sample

Sampling turns the brief into a garment that can be reviewed for fit, construction and appearance. Check the proposed fabric, measurements, branding positions and complete garment on the intended wearer. Record comments in one approval document and identify the corrected sample version. Our stated sampling lead time is 15 days, with the final schedule confirmed against the brief. Follow the pre-production sample approval process before bulk work begins. Retain the accepted reference and settle outstanding materials, size rules and decoration decisions in writing.

03

Prepare materials and cutting

Material preparation connects the approved fabric and pattern with the components needed for each size. Confirm material references, colour groups, usable width, panel direction and required quantities before cutting. Keep fabric rolls and cut bundles identifiable so components remain connected to the correct order and shade group. Use the fabric inspection guide to organise checks and release decisions. Buyers should approve substitutions before use; similar colour or fibre composition alone does not establish equivalent performance. Record the accepted materials with the current bill of materials.

04

Decorate and assemble

Decoration and sewing establish the garment’s appearance and construction. Define logo dimensions, locations, labels, trims and seam details in the approved brief. For printed styles, complete print strike-off approval on the intended material before applying the bulk artwork. Teamwear also needs a confirmed roster for player names and numbers. Arrange the production route around the garment and decoration method, then compare assembly with the accepted sample. Keep revisions controlled so a late change is assessed against the affected garments, sizes and order quantities before implementation.

05

Inspect, finish and pack

Finishing prepares the completed garment for the presentation expected by the buyer. Review workmanship, loose threads, measurements, labels and decoration against the approved references. Agree inspection requirements early enough to include them in the production schedule; our sportswear quality control checklist helps organise those checks. Packing instructions should define folding, individual bags, tags, size identification and carton allocation. Reconcile actual quantities with the order breakdown and record any approved exceptions. Retain the final packing information so the shipment records describe the goods being dispatched.

06

Coordinate the shipment

Share the destination, nominated freight arrangements and required delivery date before the cartons are ready. Agree shipment costs, responsibilities and the handover point in writing. Production lead time, freight transit and destination clearance are separate stages, so review the complete schedule against the buyer’s arrival requirement. Use the sportswear export documents checklist to identify the records needed for the shipment. Confirm destination and buyer-specific requirements with the responsible parties, then reconcile documents with actual goods and packing details before release to the carrier.
